Christmas Meeting with the rector: Pasquale Pace

In recent days, a delegation of Precarious Invisible Research - Unical met with the rector of that university. This is the account of the meeting, as it has been sent to the mailing list (apart from some minor adjustments) from Pasquale Pace :

In ogni modo il percorso da intraprendere verso l'attuazione di tali forme contrattuali risulta essere ancora lungo e nebuloso in quanto l'attenzione particolare di tutto il corpo docenti sembra essere polarizzata verso la riscrittura dello statuto di Ateneo che rappresenta il primo passo nell'attuazione della nuova legge.
A tal proposito si è fatta esplicita richiesta di avere un rappresentante del gruppo dei precari nella commissione che riscriverà lo Statuto dell'UNICAL al fine di essere membri attivi nella definizioni delle linee di sviluppo futuro dell'UNICAL.
Il Rettore ha risposto a tale richiesta dicendo che ne sono pervenute moltissime altre da singoli e da categorie all'interno dell'ateneo e che lui può solo farsi spokesman of the Academic Senate in our request without offering any guarantees.
